Helloooo Again!

I seem to have gotten out of the blogging scene for the last little while...Things have been really busy, but really good! I can't believe fall is here, well almost over...and even snow. There is a winter storm warning on the TV right now saying by Tuesday at noon there could be 12 inches of snow on the ground. I won't lie, i'm not a huge fan of the cold! I like snow for the holidays, but other than that it can be 100 degrees outside and i won't complain!

I finally am showing off the cutest 16 year old ever! Kolby's school and homecoming pictures. I just love this boy! He just finished football. After the foot incident he was out for about a month...he went back to playing with stitches still in his foot, but couldn't stand being down anymore. He got to play a ton and did really well to finish out the season. All his games were during my workdays and i only made it to his 2nd game of the season. I got to leave work early the day of his last game, so i went straight from work to Riverton to see the last 1/2 of the game. He didn't know i was coming, so it was really fun to surprise him. I yelled to him from the stands...my mom thought he would get embarrassed, but as soon as he heard me he looked up and smiled and gave a big wave! The next time he went in he made an interception! I was so glad i got to go see him play!

One sunday in Morgan at Brett's parents we went out to the yard with a few of our nieces and nephews to rake up the leaves and jump into them. It was all fun and games till they begged me to belly slide through the pile! The first slide was a success....the 2nd one, not so much! It was 1/2 belly slide & 1/2 dive! I chipped a tooth!!! Good thing i know a few good dentists! ha ha ha! Brett's dad fixed it for me the next day.I have a new nephew named Lincoln. He's about a month old now! He is #4 for Brett's sister Megan...(all boys too!)
One of my best friends, Chelsey, also had a new baby in October. Her name is Sadie. They live out in woods near Flaming Gorge. Chelsey, Angi and I lived together for about 3 years while we attended Weber State. So Angi, her baby Luke, and I went on a little weekend road trip to see the new little one and stay with Chels for a few days! It was so fun to hang out and catch up on everything. This is #2 for Chels. Her son Tuck is almost 2 years old. Her little baby is such a doll....gotta love that long dark hair! And, my other friend Angi that took this little road trip with me just called last week to tell me she's pregnant--WITH TWINS!! She will have 3 little babies under the age of 2 when the twins get here! We just laughed forever! She is so excited, but can hardly believe it herself! BABIES EVERYWHERE!!

These are my nephews Everett and Dexter. We had them over to make some Halloween cookies. I could be a little biased, but aren't they so cute? I think Everett did more licking of frosting than anything else. We sent them home with a little bit of a sugar high!

Last weekend my mom and i went to Ashton, Idaho to visit my grandpa Mac. I hadn't been up there for about a year, so it was really good to have a relaxing weekend together. Mom and i had big plans to clean his house, and we did accomplish quite a bit, bit grandpa insisted that we play cards all weekend long. Playing cards has always been a fun pasttime with my mom's side of the family, but i don't think i have ever had blisters on my hands from playing!! I remember many nights growing up and staying up at the kitchen table all hours of the night playing card games...sometimes even till 4:00 AM! Last weekend the latest we made it was 12:30 AM...i guess the 3 of us are getting old! I kept falling asleep in between turns!! Sadly, i didn't take any pictures of our weekend together, but made lots of memories.

On Halloween, the office i work in decided to get all dressed up! I went as a lady bug...something i could move around in and still be able to treat patients in. It was fun to see the patients laugh as we walked out to the waiting room to greet them! The Dr looked a little freaky and had some really nasty teeth in...so it made for some good laughs! We only had to work till 1:00 so that was a good day!

Lastly, I'm a little sad to say that softball season has officially ended. We played our final 2 games last Monday night. Now i will have 3 more nights each week to be home! It was getting a little chilly at some of the games...i would wear a 2-3 shirts plus a shirt or jacket on top of that and usually a beanie to keep the ears from getting numb. I guess when you really love to play it doesn't matter if it's only 36 degrees outside! So these picts are from a game a few weeks ago. Me and Brett, & me and Brieanne. She can hit the ball further than most guys...she's my hero!!

Now here i sit on a monday night...with not much else to do! It will be nice for life to slow down a little bit.
