Fall Break
I have been a little behind on posting to this blog...sometimes i just don't have time for everything!! Sorry Melissa, i hate that Halloween picture too! So, here are some pictures from my fall break. It was actually before Halloween so i'm doing a little backtracking! My grandpa Mac lives in Ashton, Idaho. It's a little town that not many have heard of! He lives just around the riverbend (from the Snake River)! This is a picture of Grandpa and my mom--Max on our walk to the river!
Ashton is only about 45 minutes out of West Yellowstone so we spent a day in the park hangin out with the elk and buffalo! This is my youngest brother Kolby. Me, Brett, Kolby and one of my other brothers, Brody rode in the back of the truck most of the day! It was nice and sunny out! Let's just say we got a little up close and personal with the wildlife! Kolby and Brody were trying to reach out and pet the buffalo...yeah, they're the reason bears got taken out of the park :) Dang tourists!
And this is a picture of the elk who almost rammed his antlers up Kolby's butt! ha ha ha I swear that kid doesn't have a brain...they're not tame creatures Kolb! Obviously you can tell he was pretty up close and personal with Bambi. The elk put his antlers down and charged towards Kolby. The truck was only just across the street and I don't think Kolbs has ever run so fast in his life! ha ha ha He took a flying leap and cleared the bed of the truck...then he had to change his pants! So did eveyone else watching him! We were laughing so hard. The elk only took like 5 steps before he stopped, but Kolby thought he was toast! So, that was our fall break! Fun with the fam as usual!
Oh, and this is a picture of me and Brett in front of some waterfall in Yellowstone! Thank goodness for the Fall Break! It was a much needed vacation!
